‘Save Hardy’s Vale’
We are an informal local community group who came together to avoid the industrial destruction of the Blackmore Vale by a proposed 190 acre solar power plant – to preserve and protect the beautiful Dorset landscape and heritage – for now, and the generations to come.
Our core group consists of David Horrell – lead ( and Chair of Mappowder Parish Meeting ). Catherine Langham – Bulbarrow. Mark Bentley – Mappowder. Peter Moise – Boywood. Ian Bryan – Melcombe Bingham – together with the ‘friends’ of ‘Save Hardy’s Vale’ in Dorset and beyond.
